Ken Davis, M.D., serves
as Chief Medical Officer for North Mississippi Health Services, a
not-for-profit health care organization based in Tupelo, Miss.
Dr.Davis completed
medical school and an internal medicine residency at the University of
Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed a fellowship in geriatric
medicine (care of the elderly) and served on the faculty at Harvard
Medical School. In addition to his medical training, Dr. Davis earned a
master's degree in health policy and management from Harvard University in
1990.
In addition to his active
practice of internal medicine and geriatrics at North Mississippi Medical
Center, NMHS' flagship hospital, Dr. Davis has managerial responsibility
for physician care throughout the health system. He also publishes in
leading health care journals on the topics of clinical quality and
outcomes, and teaches in the NMMC Family Medicine Residency Program.
