NMMC Behavioral Health Center Medical Staff

 

Dr. Marianne Barnes

Marianne Barnes, M.D., graduated from Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio, and earned a master's degree from Fordham University in Bronx, N.Y. She received her medical training at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her psychiatry internship and residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland in Ohio, where she also served as chief resident. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with added qualifications in forensic psychiatry.

Dr. Frankie Stanley photo

Frankie Stanley, M.D., who sees patients on an outpatient basis at the Behavioral Health Center, as well as provides telehealth services. Through Telehealth, NMMC connects area patients to specialty health care, including psychiatric services with Dr. Stanley. The telehealth consult is transmitted via a secure Internet source through video equipment and computers in the exam room that is connected to the provider’s computer. Dr. Stanley received his bachelor’s degree in medicinal chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 1984. He completed medical school in 1989 at East Carolina University School Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C. He completed a general psychiatry residency at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.


Sondra Bennett, PMHNP, received her associate's and bachelor's degrees in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She completed her master's degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham, with a focus in psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner training.

 

Charlotte Green

Charlotte Green, RN, serves as consult liaison nurse for NMMC Behavioral Health. She is a certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. She completed her studies at the University of South Alabama, where she was invited into the school’s honor program in recognition of her academic excellence. Green has been employed at NMMC since 1996.
