treatment. A combination of chemotherapy and radiation therapy is often given after
surgery to increase the likelihood of a cure. The comprehensive
cancer program at NMMC is made up of, physicians including surgeons, medical oncologists and radiation
oncologists who work together to develop the best possible course of treatment
for each patent. |

2nd floor and offers chemotherapy as well as blood and blood products.
Medical oncologists are located at Bridge Point, 961 South
Gloster. Medical oncologists focus on the
diagnosis and treatment of solid malignant tumors. Hematologists
treat blood disorders. These physicians determine the most effective
chemotherapy drugs and doses to use. Chemotherapy may be given along
with radiation therapy -- either concurrently or sequentially -- for
optimal results.
