NMMC's Cancer Center offers a variety of support groups for cancer patients and their families.  These groups allow cancer patients the opportunity to share common experiences, problems and solutions.  They also provide an avenue for patients to talk confidentially with others who are coping with and surviving cancer.

Look Good, Feel Better helps female cancer patients enhance their appearance after undergoing radiation and chemotherapy

treatments.  Patients learn to use make-up, wigs and other accessories to enhance self-image, confidence and sense of control.

Man to Man is designed to help men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families find answers to common questions and concerns.

United Ostomy Association Support Group offers educational materials for new ostomates and family members and provides interaction with NMMC enterostomal therapists.

Camp Bluebird is a three-day camp for cancer survivors.

"Life After Diagnosis" is a five-week series of community programs for women diagnosed with breast cancer.  Sponsored by NMMC's Breast Care Center and Cancer Center, programs provide education and emotional support from health care providers and breast cancer survivors.  Women can join the program at any point during the series.
