NMMC Cancer Support Groups

NMMC offers a variety of support groups for cancer patients and their families. These groups allow cancer patients the opportunity to share common experiences, problems and solutions. They also provide an avenue for patients to talk confidentially with others who are coping with and surviving cancer.

I Can Cope, a group for those undergoing cancer treatment, meets at noon on the second Friday of each month at NMMC Hematology Oncology, 961 S. Gloster St., Tupelo. For more information, call (662) 213-8478.

Man to Man is designed to help men diagnosed with prostate cancer and their families find answers to common questions and concerns.

Camp Bluebird is a three-day camp for cancer survivors. Click here for more information.

Stepping Stones is a support group for cancer patients and their caregivers. The group meets at 4 p.m. on the last Monday of each month at the NMMC Cancer Center

For more information on support groups offered through the NMMC Cancer Center, call 1-800-THE DESK (1-800-843-3375).
