Center for Business Health offers
a variety of managed care plans through its Health Link® programs. Focusing on employer/employee needs, Health
Link® provides a complete range of managed care programs to industry
and business. Programs are specially tailored to best serve the
employer. More than 1,500 physicians throughout Mississippi,
northwest Alabama and southeast Tennessee, representing various medical
specialties, participate in Health Link®.

Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) |
| Health Link® PPO
is often the first step an employer may select in implementing a
managed care program. Through the Health Link® PPO, an
employer receives certain discounts at participating
hospitals and the utilization of a fee schedule for physicians'
charges. In a PPO, the benefit plan includes incentives to
encourage employees to use participating providers. |
| Acclaim
is a Third Party Administrator (TPA) that can provide medical
claims services, workers compensation claims services and
prescription drug benefit services. Through
claims processing, payment and utilization management, Acclaim
combines payroll processing and cost
containment to help businesses offer an efficient and cost-effective
employer health plan. |
| Nurse
Link® Call Center offers its services, including
Nurse Link®, The Desk, and the Physician Consult
Line, free of charge.
These services have maintained a customer satisfaction rate
of 98% or better for the past five years. |
