As a Third Party
Administrator (TPA), Acclaim offers the highest quality medical and
dental claims services, prescription
drug benefit services and utilization
review services. By utilizing these TPA services, employers
are able to reduce health care costs for the company and its employees
without sacrificing the quality of health care received. Acclaim
can mirror an existing health care plan design or assist in developing a
plan to fit a company's specific needs.
Acclaim will handle all
the administrative procedures of a company's managed health care
plan. For example, Acclaim will enroll employees into the plan,
coordinate employee education of the plan, process claims and payments
and monitor utilization management.
Acclaim utilizes
Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). Through EDI, we are able to
increase the number of claims that are processed electronically and
reduce the number of claims that require an examiner's review.
Acclaim is part of a
complete system of managed health care plans offered by North
Mississippi Health Services which includes Health
Link®, a preferred provider organization, and
Nurse Link® Call Center.
