Medical Staff
Will Edmonson, M.D., received his
medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in
Jackson. He completed his internal medicine residency, as well as his
critical care and pulmonary fellowship, at the University of Mississippi
Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal
Medicine in the subspecialties of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.
D. Benjamin Moore
Jr., M.D., received his medical training at the University of
Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his internal medicine
internship and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center,
where he also completed a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care
medicine. He is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine,
American Board of Critical Care Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary
Diseases.
Lyndon H. Perkins, M.D.,
completed his medical studies at the University of Mississippi School of
Medicine and his internship and residency in internal medicine at the
University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed at fellowship in
pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Mississippi
Medical Center. Dr. Perkins is board-certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary Diseases.
James A. Rish, M.D.,
received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of
Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and
pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Arkansas for
Medical Sciences. Dr. Rish is board-certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine, American Board of Pulmonary Diseases and the American
Board of Critical Care Medicine.
Bob Stewart, M.D.
Dr. Stewart completed his undergraduate studies at Millsaps College in
Jackson and received his medical training at the University of Mississippi
School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and
residency, as well as his pulmonary fellowship, at the University of
Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as chief medical resident. He is
board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal
medicine and pulmonary diseases.
Jaime
R. Ungo, M.D., graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de CentroAmerica in
San Jose, Costa Rica, and completed his internal medicine residency and a
fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Jackson Memorial
Hospital, which is affiliated with the University of Miami. He also completed
a fellowship in sleep disorders at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr.
Ungo is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine, American Board of
Internal Medicine in Critical Care Medicine, American Board of Internal
Medicine in Pulmonary Diseases and American Board of Internal Medicine.
David Witty, M.D.,
received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of
Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He also completed
a fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Oklahoma Health Science
Center in Oklahoma City. Dr. Witty is board certified by the American Board of
Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary Diseases.
Sharon Hall, CFNP, a certified
family nurse practitioner, received her bachelor's degree in nursing from
Mississippi University for Women. She completed a critical care/trauma
nursing program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham before returning
to MUW for her master's degree.
Vanessa Herndon, CFNP, received her
nursing degree and family nurse practitioner training from Mississippi
University for Women in Columbus. She is a member of the Mississippi Nurses
Association.

Our clinic is open Monday
through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Appointments
All appointments are by
physician referral. Appointments may be made by calling
(662) 377-7150
during office hours. Every effort will be made to provide the earliest
possible appointment for the convenience of the patient. Due to the
unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays do occur. We hope you
will understand these delays are unavoidable.
If you are unable to keep
your appointment, please cancel as far in advance as possible. Another
patient who can be booked into the open time will be grateful for your
thoughtfulness.
