D. Kevin Asa, M.D.: Received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and his master's degree in basic medical sciences from the University of Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his medical studies at the University of Alabama College of Medicine and his internal medicine internship and residency at Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Asa also completed a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. He is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
George A. Housley Jr., M.D.: Completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania and his internal medicine internship and residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., where he also completed a rheumatology fellowship. Dr. Housley is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
Charles M. King II, M.D.: Received his medical training at Kansas University Medical School and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Okla. He also completed a rheumatology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Dr. King is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology.
Brandi Young, DNP, FNP-C: Completed her nurse practitioner training at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Young received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of North Alabama in Florence. Young is a member of the Association of Rheumatology Health Professionals, the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Mississippi Nurses Association and Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society.
Our clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All appointments are by physician referral. Appointments may be made by calling (662) 377-5000 during office hours. Every effort will be made to provide the earliest possible appointment for the convenience of the patient. Due to the unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays do occur. We hope you will understand these delays are unavoidable.
If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel as far in advance as possible. Another patient who can be booked into the open time will be grateful for your thoughtfulness.
