Medical Staff D. Kevin Asa, M.D. received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from the University of Alabama in Birmingham and his master's degree in basic medical sciences from the University of Alabama College of Medicine. He completed his medical studies at the University of Alabama College of Medicine and his internal medicine internship and residency at Baptist Medical Center in Birmingham, Ala. Dr. Asa also completed a rheumatology fellowship at the University of Tennessee Center for the Health Sciences in Memphis. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialty of rheumatology. George A. Housley Jr., M.D., completed his medical training at the University of Pennsylvania and his internal medicine internship and residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Mo., where he also completed a rheumatology fellowship. Dr. Housley is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Drew Huffman, D.O., received his bachelor's degree in biology from Newman University in Wichita, Kan. He completed his medical training at the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas-Wichita and his rheumatology fellowship at the University of Louisville in Louisville, Ky. Charles M. King II, M.D., received his medical training at Kansas University Medical School and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Okla. He also completed a rheumatology fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H. Dr. King is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. Marcus Andrew Owen, M.D., graduated
magna cum laude from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas with a
bachelor’s degree in Spanish. He completed his medical training and internal
medicine residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He
recently completed his rheumatology fellowship at University of Texas
Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Owen is a member of the American
College of Physicians, the American College of Rheumatology and the American
