Crystal Null

Crystal Null, respiratory therapist, joined NMMC-Iuka in May 2010.

“Crystal is wonderful to work with and always has the patients’ needs first,” said a coworker who nominated Null. “She helps out anywhere she can and provides excellent care.”







Elizabeth Prien

Elizabeth Prien works as a nurse in the Emergency Department, where she has worked since 2007. She also worked at NMMC in Tupelo as a nurse in the Emergency Department, as well as serving as a paramedic before receiving her nursing degree.

Prien said what she loves most about her job is “getting to know people, lending a helping hand to those in need, sharing Christ with others and enjoying fellowship with my coworkers.”

“Elizabeth is dependable, intelligent and compassionate,” her nomination stated. “She is truly a team player and she is a true asset to the ED. She works extra to fill in gaps in scheduling and keeps excellent patient care her priority in every encounter.”

Amy Middleton

Amy Middleton serves as a respiratory therapist in the hospital, where she has been employed since 2005.

“I am very blessed to have such a rewarding job,” Middleton said. “I get to help take care of people and see them get well. It’s nice to be able to help others.”

Coworkers nominating Middleton said she goes out of her way to help others and exceeds her job responsibilities. “She jumps right in and helps other departments whenever needed. She takes ownership and responsibility for patient care,” the nomination stated.

Chong Gray

Chong Gray works as a unit coordinator in nursing. She joined NMMC-Iuka 17 years ago.

Gray said the best part of her job is the people she interacts with and meets on a daily basis, as well as her coworkers at NMMC-Iuka.

“Chong always has a positive attitude and handles stress very well in her job,” her nomination stated. “She is friendly, dependable and always looking for ways to help others.”

Jayme Davis

Jayme Davis joined NMMC-Iuka in 2005, where she serves as a licensed physical therapist assistant in the Rehabilitation Department.

When commenting on the honor, Davis said, “What I love most about my job is getting to work in my hometown with such an amazing group of people and being able to make a difference in someone else’s life. It’s a pleasure to see many of our patients improve the quality of their lives and increase their independence with every day activities. I feel truly blessed to work at NMMC-Iuka.”

Coworkers nominating Davis said she is always a team player and works well with everyone in her department as well as in other departments. “She is always smiling and her patients love her,” the nomination stated. “She is always willing to volunteer to help anyone out and she is very encouraging to her patients as well as her coworkers.
