Mobile Mammography
North Mississippi Medical Center’s Mobile Mammography Unit travels to area communities to provide convenient access to mammography services.

A screening mammogram is used to detect breast cancer in women with no current breast problems. The test can detect cancer before it can be found by physician examination or other methods of diagnosis. Screening mammograms are available through self-referral.
The cost of a screening mammogram is $197. The results of the mammograms are read by NMMC radiologists, physicians who specialize in interpreting X-ray, ultrasound and other types of imaging studies.
