TUPELO, Miss. – “Life after Diagnosis,” a
series of community programs for women diagnosed with breast cancer, will be
offered at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at the North Mississippi Medical Center Breast
Care Center, 4376 S. Eason Blvd.
Dee Dee Lomenick, an occupational
therapist with NMMC’s Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, will be the featured
speaker. Her topic is “Lymphedema.”
The series is sponsored by
NMMC’s Breast Care Center and Cancer Center.
“The programs provide
education and emotional support from health care providers and breast cancer
survivors,” said Tina Stevens, RN, breast health specialist with NMMC’s Breast
Care Center.
