BRENTS HONORED AS NMMC-IUKA OUTSTANDING EMPLOYEE

IUKA, Miss.—Donald Brents, purchasing assistant for North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka, has been selected by his peers as the hospital’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.

Brents joined the hospital’s Environmental Services staff in July 2001 and transferred to his current position in October 2002. He is a graduate of Iuka High School.

“It is rewarding to know that I am responsible for supplying all medical supplies to get the patients well and back home,” he said.

Co-workers say Brents is always eager to help, displays a positive attitude and handles requests in a timely manner. “Donald goes above and beyond to be sure that all customers and departments are served,” his nomination reads. “He is eager, enthusiastic and interested in learning more. He continually looks for better ways to perform his job.”

Brents’ family includes a daughter, Diana Rhodes, and a grandchild, Tia Kimbley.
