Louie Jones of Ethelsville, Ala.) chats with physical therapist Lisa Ross during his recent stay at North Mississippi Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute following knee replacement surgery in Tupelo. Jones, who has posed as Santa for 16 years, was the guest of honor for last year’s Christmas parade in Caledonia makes yearly rounds at area nursing homes and churches. Fortunately for the NMMC staff, “Santa” said they were all good little boys and girls during his stay. Although he won’t be able to invite children onto his lap this year because of the knee surgery, Jones still hopes to make some holiday appearances.
