TUPELO,
Miss. – Cheryl Russell of Pontotoc has accepted the new position of nursing
services director for North Mississippi Medical Center’s women’s and children’s
services.
Russell
has been employed at NMMC since 1983, with almost 21 years experience in
newborn and neonatal intensive care nursing. She received a bachelor of science
in nursing from Mississippi University for Women and a master’s degree in
nursing from the University of Tennessee. She has been employed as a nurse
manager at the NMMC Women’s Hospital in the neonatal intensive care nursery and
well baby nursery for the past 13 years.
She is married to Tim
Russell, and they have two children, Mackenzie
and Jordan.
