TUPELO, Miss. – North Mississippi Medical Center has appointed Ellen Friloux as its first women’s and children’s administrator.

Friloux, who has been employed by NMMC since 1988, has worked in a number of management level positions, including serving as director of NMMC’s Cancer Center, Ambulatory Services and, most recently, Women’s Hospital.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in health administration from Western Kentucky University and a master’s degree in health service administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Friloux is married to David Friloux. They have five children and reside in Tupelo.
