NMMC WOMEN’S HOSPITAL TO HOST

NEW BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT PROGRAM

TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Center’s Women’s Hospital sponsors a free Breastfeeding Support Program from noon-1 p.m. the first and third Mondays of each month for mothers who plan to or are breastfeeding.

Lactation consultants with international board-certification lead each program, and mothers have the opportunity to talk with others who share similar experiences. A complimentary lunch is provided. The group meets in Classroom A/B at the NMMC Women’s Hospital, 4566 S. Eason Blvd.

The NMMC Women’s Hospital Lactation Center advocates breastfeeding as the superior choice of infant nutrition. The staff educates and assists families, health care professionals and others in the breastfeeding process.
