BOLDEN NAMED NMMC EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTH

TUPELO, Miss.—Sandra Bolden of Tupelo has been named North Mississippi Medical Center’s Employee of the Month for November.

An NMMC employee for 23 years, Ballard currently serves as an Ambassador at the NMMC Cancer Center. She previously worked in the Radiology Department and in physical therapy.

In Bolden’s nomination for the award, one of her coworkers wrote, “Sandra’s care and concern for patients demonstrates her excellent customer service. She smiles, laughs and tries to put the patient at ease. Many times patients will stop and talk to her upon entering the Cancer Center. By the time they have reached the treatment waiting area, they are smiling and laughing at something she has said to them.”

Commenting on the monthly honor, she said, “I always knew that I would like to be Employee of the Month, but I never thought it would happen. I’m thrilled that people thought enough of me to nominate me for the honor.”

The Tupelo native and her husband, Gregory, who is the minister at Miracle Life Ministry Church on Cliff Gookin Boulevard, have four children. Lanavdo is 24, Dorjena is 23, Shunta is 21 and Emmunel is 17. The couple also has four granddaughters.
