PONTOTOC, Miss.—With the expansion of Pontotoc Medical Clinic,
North Mississippi Medical Clinics is building for future health care needs of
this community.
“We’re expanding
and renovating more than 4,000 square feet,” said Stephen Montgomery, M.D., a
board-certified family physician with the clinic. “The improvements and
amenities will help our physicians and staff fulfill our mission of
continuously improving the health of the people of our area.”
The
expansion/renovation project includes the addition of a new wing that will
house one procedure room, six patient exam rooms, a new and enlarged lab,
patient waiting area, employee lounge and physician offices.
“This construction project is designed to help us better
accommodate our growing patient needs, as well as enhance our ability to
provide excellent patient care,” Dr. Montgomery said. “Several physicians have
joined the clinic since it opened at this location in 1995.”
Estimated completion for the
construction and renovation project is January 2004.
In addition to Dr. Montgomery, the clinic is
staffed by Lee Greer, M.D., Michael Hogue, M.D., Kevin Koehler, M.D., and Paul
Whiteside, M.D.
