Media representatives are invited to attend a private dedication ceremony for the Robert Wylie Reed Memorial Fountain at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, in the North Mississippi Medical Center lobby. R.W. “Bob” Reed was a founder of North Mississippi Community Hospital and served as chairman of the board of directors of North Mississippi Community Hospital/North Mississippi Medical Center from 1937-1956. The lovely fountain in NMMC’s new lobby is being commemorated through a donation to the Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi from the R.W. Reed Company and his family.
