TUPELO, Miss.—Melanie Misson, an occupational therapist with North Mississippi Medical Center’s Rehabilitation Institute, helps patients Bonnie Chandler (left) of Verona and Charles Costner of Oxford wrap presents for a needy family as part of their therapy. Rehabilitation Institute staff members donated money to buy the presents and worked with patients to wrap them and place them under the facility’s Christmas tree. The NMMC Rehabilitation Institute is a 30-bed inpatient unit where health professionals provide intensive therapy daily to help patients reach their goals.
