Octavius Ivy serves as service line administrator for clinical and support services for North Mississippi Medical Center-Tupelo.
Ivy joined NMMC in 2003 as an administrative resident before becoming assistant to the North Mississippi Health Services president in 2004. He was promoted to assistant service line administrator in 2007 and to his current position in 2009.
He is a 1999 graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a 2002 graduate of Meharry Medical College in Nashville, where he received a master’s degree in healthcare administration.
Ivy is a member of Rotary Club, a graduate of CDF’s Community Leadership Institute and a board member of the United Way of Northeast Mississippi, Good Samaritan Free Clinic, and Gardner Simmons Home for Girls, and the advisory committee for Itawamba Community College Workforce Development. His professional affiliations include membership in the American College of Healthcare Executives, Mississippi Healthcare Executives and the National Association for Health Services Executives.
