Leadership Team -- Ormella Cummings, Ph.D.

Ormella Cummings, Ph.D., serves as chief strategy officer for North Mississippi Health Services. She is also responsible for monitoring community relations throughout the health care organization’s 24-county service area.

Cummings, who joined NMHS in 2004, has a master’s degree in guidance/counseling and a doctorate in educational/counseling psychology from the University of Mississippi. She is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR).

She also serves on several board community boards including CDF, CREATE, Link Centre and NEWMS (New Expectations for Women in Mississippi).
