Patient Food Services

Your daily diet, which is prescribed by your physician, is an important part of your recovery. A dietary hostess will deliver your meal and assist if you need help. If you have questions about your diet or have any other concerns about your food service, please ask to speak to your dietitian.

Food Court & CafÈ Express

The Food Court is located on the first floor of the medical center and is open from 6 a.m. until midnight daily. Cafè Express is located on the first floor of the East Tower and is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. Women's Hospital Cafè Express is open from 7 a.m.-5:50 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Visitors are invited to use all three locations, and carryouts and snack items are available.

Newspapers

Coin-operated newsstands are located on the first floor of the medical center near the elevators and outside the admissions lobby of the Women's Hospital.

Auxiliary Gift & Floral Shops

The NMMC Auxiliary operates a gift and floral shop for the convenience of patients, visitors and employees at the main hospital. Hours of operation are 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 1-5:30 p.m. Sunday. The Women's Hospital also offers a gift and floral shop which is open from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. daily except Sunday.

ATM Banking Machines

Bank automated teller machines are located on the first floor of the medical center near Nursing Administration. A stamp machine and post office box for outgoing mail is also located there.

Mail

Mail will be delivered to your room in the medical center and the Women's Hospital. Mail received after you are discharged will be forwarded to your home address. A stamp machine is located on NMMC's first floor near the public elevators. A post office box for outgoing mail is also located there.
