Once you are placed in a room upon admission, you will have a plastic identification bracelet placed on your wrist at admission. Please leave the bracelet on throughout your hospital stay. If you are having a baby, another bracelet will be placed on your wrist in Delivery. This band number matches the number on your baby's identification band.
Cafe Express is located in the main lobby area of the Women's Hospital and is open from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Cafe Express provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and beverages.
Gift Certificates for a special "Dinner for Two" may be purchased by you, a family member or a friend in Cafe Express. These elegant dinners prepared by our Food and Nutrition Services are served in your room and feature a selection of delicious entrees and sparkling grape juice.

Classes and seminars on various women's health topics are offered through the hospital's Education Department. Class dates and times are available by calling 1-800-THE-DESK (1-800-843-3375). During your hospital stay, you are encouraged to learn about newborn care on the hospital's closed circuit television Channel 58 (English) and Channel 59 (Spanish).
Visitors should enter through the main lobby. Information concerning patients' rooms may be obtained at the Admission Desk or from Ambassador Services.
Babies feeding times are 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m., and 9:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m. Three adult visitors including the father are allowed during babies' feedings.
Visitation is limited in the labor rooms. Visitors may be asked to leave when physicians are visiting patients. Siblings may visit at any time if they are in good health.
Parents of infants who are unable to leave the nursery to feed or visit are encouraged to visit the baby in the nursery. Special instructions regarding nursery visitation will be provided to these parents.
