Medical Staff

Will Edmonson, M.D.: Received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson. He completed his internal medicine residency, as well as his critical care and pulmonary fellowship, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the subspecialties of Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease.

Kevin C. Harbour, M.D.: Received a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in biochemistry, both from the University of Mississippi in Oxford. He graduated from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2004 and completed an internal medicine residency there. He served as chief resident in 2007-2008. He completed a fellowship in pulmonology and critical care at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. During his fellowship, Dr. Harbour worked at VA Medical Center in Birmingham. He has also worked at the G.V. "Sonny" Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson and at the Jackson Free Clinic. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonology, and serves as an Advanced Cardiac Life Support instructor.

Lyndon H. Perkins, M.D.: Completed his medical studies at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and his internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He also completed at fellowship in pulmonary medicine at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Perkins is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary Diseases.

Paul Perry, M.D.: Received his bachelor's degree from Mississippi College, and completed his medical training and internal medicine residency at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed fellowships in infectious disease and pulmonology at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He is a member of the Infectious Disease Society of America, and is board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine and Infectious Disease.

David Reed, D.O: Completed his medical training at the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Mo. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he also completed a fellowship in pulmonary diseases, critical care and sleep medicine. Dr. Reed is board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine.

James A. Rish, M.D.: Received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency in internal medicine and pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Rish is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Pulmonary Diseases and the American Board of Critical Care Medicine.

Bob Stewart, M.D.: Completed his undergraduate studies at Millsaps College in Jackson and received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency, as well as his pulmonary fellowship, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where he served as chief medical resident. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both internal medicine and pulmonary diseases.

Jaime R. Ungo, M.D.: Graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de CentroAmerica in San Jose, Costa Rica, and completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital, which is affiliated with the University of Miami. He also completed a fellowship in sleep disorders at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami. Dr. Ungo is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

David Witty, M.D.: Received his medical training at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine internship and residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He also completed a fellowship in pulmonary disease at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City. Dr. Witty is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pulmonary Diseases.

Ashley Henson, FNP-BC: Received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama in Florence, and her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Cincinnati.

Vanessa Herndon, CFNP: Received her nursing degree and family nurse practitioner training from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association.


Carolyn Estes, CFNP: Received her nursing degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and her family nurse practitioner training from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus.

 

Blake Tatum, FNP-C: Received her associate's degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College, and her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of North Alabama. She received her master's degree and family nurse practitioner training from Walden University. She is a board-certified nurse practitioner and is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the American Nurses Association and the Mississippi Nurses Association, among others.

Office Hours

Our clinic is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Fridays from 8 a.m. to noon.

Appointments

All appointments are by physician referral. Appointments may be made by calling (662) 377-7150 during office hours. Every effort will be made to provide the earliest possible appointment for the convenience of the patient. Due to the unscheduled nature of emergencies, occasional delays do occur. We hope you will understand these delays are unavoidable.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel as far in advance as possible. Another patient who can be booked into the open time will be grateful for your thoughtfulness.

We now have the ability to exchange secure online correspondence with our patients and keep your information up-to-date. If you have Internet access and sign up for this service, you will have the ability to do the following at your convenience:

To access the service, you will register using a PIN (Personal Identification Number) that will be provided by our clinic staff to you in a personalized letter after a visit to our clinic. The PIN will expire in 30 days. If your PIN has expired before you access your account, please visit us in person to obtain a new PIN. To ensure patient confidentiality, we do not provide this information over the phone.
