A Woman's Place Lunchtime Learning

Sponsored by the Health Care Foundation of North Mississippi, A Woman's Place Lunchtime Learning Series features monthly programs for women about women's health issues. Programs are usually held the third Tuesday of each month (except July and December). Lunch is $5 and reservations are required by the prior Wednesday. Baby Fair

Learn about prepared childbirth and infant care, then browse the selection of baby items from local merchants. Baby Fair is held on a Saturday each August at the NMMC Women's Hospital.

 

Girls' Night Out

Enjoy a fun evening with friends learning about vital women's health topics. Girls' Night Out is held on a weeknight each October.

Members-Only Events

One just never knows what opportunities might arise exclusively for Spirit of Women members. It might be a chance to meet Miss America or "An Evening of Pampering."

Pink Dress Luncheon

Bring your mother, daughter, sister and friends for this annual event to focus attention on breast cancer and sport your favorite pink attire. The Pink Dress Luncheon, which includes a breast health fair in addition to a featured speaker, is held annually in the spring.

 

Spirit of Women Awards

Join us in honoring our community's outstanding female health care providers, community advocates and youth. Nominations are due each February, and regional winners go on to become national nominees.

 

 

Women in Red Luncheon

Wear red to the Women in Red Luncheon and take advantage of a heart-healthy topic and health fair.
