Group Class Descriptions

 

20/20/20

20 minutes of Cardio, followed by 20 minutes of Boot Camp and 20 minutes of Spin.

Advanced Circuit Training

A class that alternates cardiovascular with segments of training (meets on the fitness floor).

Boot Camp

Group exercise class made up of cardio and strength interval training in a drill format. No choreography!

CampBo

A class to push yourself but also remain safe. Exercises will range from elevated push-ups to plyometrics then on to kicks and jabs. Last but not least, we add core training for that six-pack. This class is designed for fat burning and toning.

Core and More

A class designed just for the Guts and Glutes. For the beginner and the advanced.

Interval Step

A very fun and basic step class with intervals of strength training and cardio training using the step.

Interval Training

A class integrating strength, cardiovascular and core training through a series of intervals.

Lite Circuit

A class using the strength machines and walking track on the fitness floor.

Mighty Muscles

Designed for children ages 9-12. Each class is 30 minutes of structured exercise and 15 minutes of free play. All classes are lead by a certified instructor. Cost is $25/month for members' children and $40 per month for nonmembers' children.


Muscle Cut

This class will work on total body shaping utilizing bands, weights and benches.

Pilates / MAT Science Pilates

Intense core body training using the mat with some stability ball and hand weights.

S.H.R.E.D.

Stations, High - Intensity, Resistance, Endurance, Drive. This class is challenging enough for the advanced weight lifter but also simple enough for the beginner.

Spin

An indoor cycling class that is sure to make you sweat! Meets in the aerobic room next to racquetball court.

T'ai Chi Chih

A series of 19 movements that improve balance, physical fitness, flexibility and stamina.

Anusara Yoga

The Anusara yoga method is a strength and spirit building practice with longer holds and explorations of the poses. The principles of alignment make this a truly therapeutic yoga class.

Chair Yoga

A class designed for individuals with any physical limitations. This class will use chairs for all the exercises.

Yoga Flow

A class designed to move smoothly from one yoga posture to another without interruption. Yoga flow is a great class for the beginner.

Zumba

A fusion of Latin and International music/dance themes creating a dynamic, exciting, effective fitness workout! The routines feature simple, easy to follow, repetitive dance steps, aerobic/fitness interval training that tone and sculpt the body. This class is designed for all fitness levels... even those with two left feet!
