NMMC-Eupora is comprised of a not-for-profit 38-bed acute care hospital and a 35-bed long-term care facility. To further rehabilitation after a patient's acute care stay in the hospital, 20 of the hospital beds are designated for Swing Bed Care. One of NMMC-Eupora's greatest strengths is the quality of its medical staff. The medical staff offers specialists in family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, pathology and radiology.

Meet the Director of Nursing: Liz Rico, MSN, RN
Liz began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Shortly after achieving this certification, Liz gave birth to her second child, Megan. Megan was born with cerebral palsy, with profound mental and physical deficits. “This journey led me to become the mother with questions and anxiety. I needed reassurance, answers and simple acts of kindness and compassion,” Liz said. “That is why I am honored to be part of an organization whose primary focus is patient- and family-centered care.” Liz is a fourth-generation nurse and has been with NMHS for 10 years. “I hope to continue promoting and fulfilling our mission and vision as I continue my journey as a nurse with NMMC-Eupora,” she said.
