Hannah Brown's NMHS Story
Hannah Davis Brown got an early start at North Mississippi Medical Center—she was born at Women’s Hospital 12 weeks early—and now she’s back to help others in similar situations.
Hannah Davis Brown of Tupelo was born 12 weeks early in March 1996. Hannah weighed 2 pounds, 13 ounces and spent more than two months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the NMMC Women’s Hospital. She added her handprint to this quilt at the 2006 NICU Reunion. Today, Hannah is a certified nursing assistant and works in Resource Pool at Women’s Hospital while she’s studying to become a registered nurse. She hopes to work in Labor and Delivery once she earns her associate degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College in Fulton.
