Bash Honored as Employee of the Quarter
WEST POINT, Miss.—Susie Bash, a nursing assistant in the Emergency Department, has been named as the most recent Employee of the Quarter for North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point.
Bash joined the NMMC staff in 2000. She is a graduate of West Clay High School.
Several coworkers nominated Bash for the quarterly honor. “Susie is very pleasant to work with and works well with everyone,” her nomination states. “She is a team player.”
Bash was cited for keeping the ER stocked and ready, working hard, mentoring medical technology students from West Point High School’s Vo-Tech Center, and helping in other areas as needed. “She treats patients like they are her family members,” another coworker wrote.
“What I love most about my job is being a part of an amazing staff and being able to train students in the health care field,” Bash said.
She is married to Bernard Bash and has four children and four grandchildren. She attends Bluff Creek Church in Pheba.
