Dr. Silver Joins NMMC Rehabilitation Medicine Staff
TUPELO, Miss.—Kevin Silver, D.O., has joined the medical staff of North Mississippi Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and North Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Silver specializes in interventional pain management and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He provides testing and treatment for patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction and neurologic disorders.
Dr. Silver earned a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from the University of Arkansas. He earned his medical degree at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg and completed an internship at Detroit Medical Center in Michigan. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
Prior to moving to Tupelo, he served as assistant professor in Virginia Commonwealth University Spine Center’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
He joins Drs. Aurora Wong and David Richmond, and nurse practitioners Collette Dixon, Holli Sanders and Tina Shelton in the practice. He is married to Sara Silver, D.O., a pediatric endocrinologist affiliated with the University of Mississippi Medical Center who sees patients in Tupelo.
