NMMC Welcomes New Neurosurgeon
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Neurosurgical Services welcomes Jason Stacy, M.D. A Tupelo native, He graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in political science from Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. He received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine, and completed a neurosurgery residency and endovascular neurosurgery fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Stacy is a member of the American Medical Association, the Congress of Neurosurgeons, the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the Mississippi State Medical Association.
With the addition of Dr. Stacy, NMMC will now offer endovascular surgery – a treatment that can be used on some stroke patients to restore blood flow to the brain immediately.
He joins Drs. Carl Bevering, Hunt Bobo, Louis Rosa, Elbert White and Harry Bartee, and nurse practitioner Dawn Fancher, at the clinic.
The clinic, located in Longtown Medical Park, 4381 S. Eason Blvd., is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday.
