NMMC-West Point Honors Gray as Outstanding Employee
WEST POINT, Miss.—Judi Gray, certified pharmacy technician at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point, has been selected by her peers as North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point’s most recent Employee of the Quarter.
Gray joined the hospital staff in 2010. She graduated from West Clay High School and attended Itawamba Community College in Fulton and Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She has been a licensed practical nurse since 2002.
She earned her certification as a pharmacy technician in 2012 and now teaches the course at East Mississippi Community College in Mayhew.
“What I love most about my job is helping others,” Gray said. “I like being able to get their needs met in a timely manner.”
In her many nominations, Gray was cited for her positive attitude, flexibility with scheduling, compassion and willingness to help everyone. Coworkers said she goes out of her way to deliver prescriptions to employees and always helps customers cut prescription costs, if possible. “She is a great asset to this organization,” her nomination stated.
She is married to Tavarest Gray and has three children—Quardez Neely, 23; Chace Gray, 11; and Rayne Gray, 8.
