Stanford Joins West Point Internal Medicine Clinic

WEST POINT, Miss.—Family nurse practitioner Rebecca Stanford, FNP-C, has joined the medical staff of West Point Internal Medicine Clinic.

She joins internal medicine physician Ed Miller, M.D., and nurse practitioner Sarah Gibbons at the clinic. An Amory resident, Stanford earned associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus. She also received her master’s degree and training as a family nurse practitioner from MUW.

Prior to joining the clinic, Stanford worked as a registered nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center-West Point since 2003. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and holds certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Trauma Nursing Core Course. She is a member of the Mississippi Nurses Association and Mississippi Nurse Practitioners Association. She and her husband, Doug, have one son, Jacob.
