Jason Lea Joins NMMC as Director of Facility Operations
TUPELO, Miss.—Jason W. Lea has joined North Mississippi Medical Center as director of Facility Operations.
Lea is a native of Grenada and graduate of Grenada High School. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Mississippi State University in Starkville and completed work on a master’s of business administration degree in energy leadership from Texas A&M University-Texarkana.
“I am truly honored to have been selected for this position with NMMC,” Lea said. “My family and I have been out of Mississippi for more than 10 years and are extremely excited to be returning to our home state. I hope to see the skills and knowledge I have gained across the country be of noteworthy value to NMMC.”
Lea has attained certifications as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) through the American Hospital Association; Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) through the Association for Facilities Engineering; Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers; and Certified Life Safety Specialist-Healthcare (CLSS-HC) through the National Fire Protection Association.
He and wife Renee have been married 14 years. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Tommie Brooklyn Lea.
