NMMC-Iuka Employee Achieves MRSO
IUKA, Miss.—Jesse Woodard, registered MRI technologist at North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka, recently obtained certification as a Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer (MRSO).
MRSO is a certification offered by the American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety. An MRSO is a radiology professional who is charged with overseeing the safety of clinical MRIs.
Woodard has worked at NMMC-Iuka for 10 years. He is the first in the North Mississippi Medical Center system with this certification. This certification is valid for 10 years.
