North Mississippi Medical Clinics and Dr. Crosswhite Receive Awards
PHOENIX, Ariz.—North Mississippi Medical Clinics was recently recognized for work with annual Medicare wellness visits, and Brad Crosswhite, M.D., was named Medical Director of the Year.
The awards were given at the first Caravan Health Accountable Care Symposium in Phoenix, Ariz.
North Mississippi Medical Clinics received a Population Health Pioneer Award for the most annual Medicare wellness visits.
Dr. Crosswhite was named ACO (Accountable Care Organization) Medical Director of the Year. He was recognized by his peers for his leadership in population health.
“Dr. Crosswhite is a key team member for our monthly ACO workgroup and ACO steering committee meetings,” said Sarah Hammock, RN, BSN, Population Health Program Director for North Mississippi Medical Clinics. “His leadership and vision has helped push our team forward. He is a true servant leader and looks for the best solutions for everyone involved.”
An accountable care organization is a group of doctors and other health care providers who voluntarily work together with Medicare to give patients high-quality service and care at the right time in the right setting.
