North Mississippi Medical Clinics Select Pamela Jackson Employee of the Month
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Clinics recently named Pamela Jackson as the March Employee of the Month.
Jackson is a phlebotomist at IMA-Tupelo. She joined North Mississippi Medical Center in the phlebotomy department in 2001, and transferred to IMA in 2007. She is a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School. She attended Itawamba Community College and received her bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University.
“Pam is so cheerful and upbeat, and always an encourager to coworkers and patients,” said a coworker who nominated Jackson. “She has a servant’s heart. She thinks about how the patient, family member or co-worker might feel in different situations. She has an infectious smile and a joyous countenance.”
Jackson says her favorite part of her job is the people she gets to work with. “I love my patients and my coworkers, and I love to work with the students who come through for clinicals,” she said. “I love being a servant to others.”
She has two sons and one grandson. She attends Ekklesia Ministries in Corinth, where she serves as an usher and greeter.
The Employee of the Month honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
