Trinise Westbrook Named NMMC’s Employee of the Month
TUPELO, Miss.–Trinise Westbrook, receptionist for the Radiology Department, has been named Employee of the Month at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Westbrook joined NMMC in 1992. After spending six months working in the Environmental Services Department, Westbrook moved to Ambassador Services, where she served for 10 years. She has worked for the Radiology Department for the past 15 years.
She is a graduate of W.P. Daniel High School in New Albany. Coworkers recognized Westbrook for her compassion and care for patients and being a good teammate.
“Trinise is a model employee who always has a positive attitude and a smile,” one coworker wrote in her nomination. “She is a vital part of the Radiology family and goes out of her way to uplift her coworkers. Leading by example, Trinise engages her coworkers to perform at a higher level. Her compassion and attitude towards coworkers, our patients and their families is contagious.”
“Trinise is an amazing coworker,” another employee wrote in her nomination. “There are not many patients or employees that Trinise does not know. She always goes above and beyond by being attentive to the patients’ needs, even if it involves calling them or going to check on them in their room later. Trinise always goes out of her way to lend a helping hand.”
Westbrook said she loves having the opportunity to make a difference in people’s lives on a daily basis.
“I absolutely love people, and putting a smile on someone’s face makes me happy,” she said. “I am able to serve patients, family and my coworkers. I get to work with some awesome people. Management in Radiology has high integrity and cares about the well-being of others. I think it is important to treat everyone like family. I have an opportunity to show love and make a positive impact on people’s lives. I love my job.”
Westbrook has two daughters—Avery Westbrook and Angelica Westbrook-Woods, and granddaughters Madison, Ja’Niya and Ja’Lynn. She attends White Hill Baptist Church in Tupelo.
