Clinics Name McBrayer as Employee of the Month
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Clinics has named Linda McBrayer, manager of coding and reimbursement, as Employee of the Month for April.
A graduate of Shannon High School, McBrayer joined the staff in 1995 as a payment poster. The following year she was promoted to patient representative. In 1997 she became responsible for insurance follow-up, and in 1998 she became a coder. She is a Certified Professional Coder and was promoted to her current role in 2003.
“Linda goes above and beyond to practice exceptional teamwork. She works with her team to ensure consistent communication is promoted during our team meetings,” her nomination states. “She consistently encourages me to do my best and be involved in situations to promote growth in my career.”
“Linda is a great leader. She is always helping with a smile,” others wrote in her nomination. “She has very high quality at work. She pursues excellence in all that she does.”
“The best of my job is being part of an organization where people care and respect each other and to have the support of a great team in Coding and Reimbursement,” McBrayer said. “I am very blessed to be part of North Mississippi Medical Clinics.”
She and her husband, Steve, live in Blue Springs. Their daughter, Kayela Harpole, and son-in-law Donald, have a 5-year-old grandson, Tate. The family attends Antioch Church of Christ.
The Employee of the Month honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
