Mentorship Academy 2018

TUPELO, Miss.—Area students participating in the Mentorship Academy at North Mississippi Medical Center are Claudia Hill of East Union High School; Oria Smith, Mooreville High School; Nyeshia McGregory, Shannon High School; Montanna Hurd, South Pontotoc High School; Mallorie Simmons, Nettleton High School; Peighton Claire Malone, Nettleton High School; Zairy Martinez, North Pontotoc High School; Alexis White, South Pontotoc High School; Hailey Adsit, New Albany High School; Sydney Collier, New Albany High School; Webb Roberts, Tupelo Christian Preparatory School; Carrie Gregory, South Pontotoc High School; Allaunah Tumblin, Houlka Attendance Center; Breanna Lopez, South Pontotoc High School; Distani’d Standifer, Shannon High School; Anna Foster, Nettleton High School; Kirklyn Finney, Pontotoc High School; Cantaja Finnie, Shannon High School; Carrington Small, Shannon High School; and Kameron Bell, Shannon High School.

Students attended after-school classes for six weeks and received 80 hours of certified nursing assistant training this summer at Itawamba Community College. This training prepares participants to take the certification exam in July and gives them a head start on a career in health care.
