NMMC-Iuka Names Director of Support Services
IUKA, Miss.—Jamie Pruitt was recently named director of Support Services at North Mississippi Medical Center-Iuka. This expanded role includes a blend of administrative functions, human resource functions and education.
Pruitt has worked at NMMC-Iuka since July 1995, when he began his career as Environmental Services floor technician. In September of that year he was promoted to director of Environmental Services. Since 2016, he worked in administration performing data analysis for NMHS before transitioning to his current role.
Pruitt received his associate degree in English education from Northeast Mississippi Community College. He received bachelor’s degrees in English and Professional Writing from the University of North Alabama.
“In my 20+ years of working in health care, I have seen a great deal of change, but our main focus is to always deliver an amazing health care experience to our patients and families,” Pruitt said.
He and his wife, Kimberly, have three children – 20-year-old Elizabeth, 9-year-old Cooper and 8-year-old Riley.
