North Mississippi Medical Clinics Name Luedtke Employee of the Month
TUPELO, Miss.—North Mississippi Medical Clinics recently named Kathy Luedtke, RN, as January’s Employee of the Month.
Luedtke joined the Work Link staff five years ago. She graduated from Manistee Catholic Central High School in Manistee, Mich. She earned an associate degree in nursing in 1982 from Northwestern Community College in Traverse City, Mich., and a bachelor’s degree in health sciences from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo.
Coworkers who nominated Luedtke for the award cite her positive attitude, smile and willingness to help her team and her customers.
“The word around Work Link is if Kathy did it, it was done right,” one nomination states. “There is no question that her work ethics are above standard when working with patients, peers or clients from the industries.”
“From patient care to decorating for holidays or cleaning out the store room, Kathy is the first to jump in and help get the job done,” another nomination states. “And not just complete the job, but complete it with perfection!”
Luedtke says the best part of her job is her coworkers and patients. “What I love most about my job is training staff and industries in CPR and First Aid,” she adds.
She is married to Greg Luedtke and has three children—Kelsey Yeary (and son-in-law Justin), and Kimberly and Cade Luedtke. The family attends West Jackson Street Baptist Church in Tupelo.
The Employee of the Month honor recognizes employees with exemplary job performance and customer service skills, as well as community involvement.
