Patsy Hutcheson Named Employee of the Year at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton
HAMILTON, Ala.—Patsy Hutcheson was recently named Employee of the Year at North Mississippi Medical Center-Hamilton.
Hutcheson serves as a CLPN/nurses’ aide coordinator in the nursing home. She joined the hospital staff in 1999 and has worked in several roles. She is a graduate of Hamilton High School and Bevill State Community College.
She and her husband, Steve, have been married for 44 years. They have two sons, Scott and Adam; two daughters-in-law, Juliette and Becca; and two grandchildren, Penelope and Lachlan.
“My work family is truly my second family,” she said. “I love and appreciate each one. My residents have given me untold levels of joy over the years. I love what I do!”
Hutcheson was nominated for Employee of the Month for being kind, patient and a great teacher. “She works with all our new certified nursing assistants, and helps them to understand our culture and expectations of excellence,” said a coworker who nominated Hutcheson. “She always takes time to listen and assist without being asked, and she is always willing to lend a hand where it is needed. You never see her without a smile, and she shows everyone respect, care and love.
