Richards Named NMMC Chief Flight Nurse
TUPELO, Miss.—CareFlight, North Mississippi Medical Center’s medical helicopter service, welcomes Benjamin Richards as Chief Flight Nurse.
Richards began his career as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic and then received his bachelor’s degree in management and human relations from Trevecca Nazarene University in Nashville, Tenn. He also earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Union University in Jackson, Tenn. “Ben has a wealth of knowledge regarding emergency medicine, and we are excited for him to join our leadership team,” said Dennis Hebner, administrative director of prehospital services at NMMC.
He lives in Oxford with his wife, Leah, and their two children, Graham and Eli.
