Robbie Earnest Receives Mended Hearts Scholarship

TUPELO, Miss.—Mended Hearts of Northeast Mississippi officers Phyllis Lendon and Ken Krason recently presented the Leland B. Cook Cardiac Health Care Scholarship to registered nurse Robbie Earnest of Houlka.

Earnest earned an associate degree in nursing from Itawamba Community College and joined the North Mississippi Medical Center staff six years ago. He currently works in Home Health and will begin pursuing his bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mississippi University for Women in August.

He also received a scholarship from the local chapter in 2013.

Mended Hearts of Northeast Mississippi, comprised of former heart patients and their families, meets at 5:15 p.m. the last Thursday of each month at North Mississippi Medical Center.
