Bradley Honored with BEE Award at NMMC
Presenting Brittany Bradley (second from left) with the BEE Award are (from left) Megan Bunch, director of inpatient medicine services; Donna Pritchard, chief nursing executive; Brianna Scott, 3 Central nurse manager; and Kristen Long, senior nursing director.
TUPELO, Miss.—Unit coordinator Brittany Bradley of 3 Central recently received North Mississippi Medical Center’s BEE (Beyond Exceptional Expectations) Award for June.
“I have been caring for a single mother with a 16-year-old son who has been with her since her admission,” wrote a coworker in Bradley’s nomination. “The patient has been unable to provide for her son due to her sudden illness. Tonight, Brittany took her break to go to McDonald’s and buy the child a meal. I think it says so much about her character and work ethic to help a sick mother out and feed her son. A heart willing to serve others like Brittany’s deserves to be acknowledged. I am so lucky to work with her.”
A Tupelo resident, Bradley graduated from Tupelo High School in 2004 and joined NMMC’s 3 Central staff in 2014.
She received a certificate, a BEE Award pin, a bouquet donated by Bishop’s Flower Shop and a cake. The BEE Award is given to a deserving caregiver each month at NMMC. Nomination forms are available throughout NMMC or at www.nmhs.net/bee-award. For more information, call (662) 377-3431 or email BEEAwards@nmhs.net.
