Moore Honored with BEE Award
TUPELO, Miss.—Social worker Taylor Moore, who serves as a care coordinator with Case Management, recently received North Mississippi Medical Center’s BEE (Beyond Exceptional Expectations) Award for December.
“Taylor received a call from a physician late that a patient was going to be discharged. The patient did not have any shoes, and Taylor looked for some in her clothes closet she established on 5 South,” wrote a coworker in Moore’s nomination. “She could not find any, so she went and bought some for the patient. This is just an example of the many things that Taylor does. She is the most giving and kindest person I have ever known.”
Moore graduated from Houston High School in 2013 and attended East Mississippi Community College. She earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Mississippi in 2017 and joined the NMMC staff in October of that year.
She received a certificate, a BEE Award pin, a bouquet donated by Bishop’s Flower Shop and a cake. The BEE Award is given to a deserving caregiver each month at NMMC. For more information, call (662) 377-3431 or email BEEAwards@nmhs.net.
